Keratex Cooling Gel is an excellent way of cooling your horse’s muscles, ligaments and tendons after exercise, and is also ideal for use as a way of preventing inflammation and heat in horses during periods of travel and on box rest. Keratex Cooling Gel cools by evaporation and, unlike other gels available, does not contain menthol or camphor which are used to numb the nerve receptors without actually cooling the internal structures of the legs.
