The eggbutt bar is a universally deployable mouthpiece, it sits very quietly in the horseandlsquo;s mouth and the eggbutts effectively prevent pinching of the lips. The bit fits perfectly in the mouth due to its slight curve. Pressure on the rein alters the angle of the bit and, due to its special design, produces an increased effect on the bars and tongue. The shaped transition from the mouthpiece to the bit rings prevents pinching and additionally provides the bit with particular lateral stability and hold.
