Scalibor Protectorband Collar for Dogs – Large – 65cm

Scalibor Protectorband Collars are available in two sizes and are for use on dogs. They contain the potent insecticide and repellent deltamethrin. It is primarily used to prevent ticks, sand flies and mosquitoes from biting dogs. Using a Scalibor collar is one of the most effective ways of preventing dogs from acquiring diseases such as Leishmaniasis, Lymes disease (Borreliosis) , Ehrlichiosis, Babesiosis and heartworm disease. These are all transmitted by biting insects or ticks. Scalibor is suitable for use on dogs in the UK, but is particularly recommended for use in dogs travelling on the Pet Passport Scheme to Southern Europe and other areas. Scalibor should not be used on cats The Scalibor Protectorband Collar should be replaced after 6 months to maintain continuous protection. It is important to measure your dog’s neck circumference to work out which collar is needed. The Small/Medium collar has a length of 48cm and so it is suitable for neck cirumferences of up to around 44cm, if properly fitted.
